Does anyone hate Hagrid?

So I'll be someone to - well not hate, but at the very least - reasonably dislike Hagrid. He is really nothing but an over grown hairy baby who can do nothing on his own but whining. It's always somebody else who has to handle his life be it Buckbeak или press Scandal или simply making a living. He is totally selfish, which is of course not his fault, as he is rather unwise to realize that he is being selfish. Think of Norbert and Buckbeak and Grawp for instance: he was so carried away in his own hobbies that белка ended up one answer plus and the trio 150 points minus, same with the Malfoy case, Hermione spent days preparing him for the trial. But enough of my own opinion.
Hagrid as a character itself is not 100% straight either. He is, as we know, supposed to Показать how the government and the society is sunken into prejudices and thus discriminates a good man only because he is different in some way. We all know that, it happened many times in the history and Lucius, Rita and Fudge's attitude to Hagrid all justifies it. But thinking just one little step further it gets quite clear that Hagrid is also a good example for this from the other, the bully's point of view - if we call victim the one who suffers the discrimination and bully the one in whose favor it's committed. I can't quote Rita properly, but she also wrote something like many еще qualified applicants were turned down in favor of Hagrid. So what was the only reason for him becoming a teacher? Not qualification (Hermione says that the other teacher could Список three times as much magical aspect of the unicorn than Hagrid), not other necessary skills (he WAS mumbling and talking nonsense) then what? And why couldn't someone worthier be confided? Because s/he ain't no pals with the big fish.

WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND COULD HATE или DISLIKE HAGRID? MAYBE STUPID PEOPLE.

I never had Hagrid as my Избранное character, but he has always seemed like a nice character that is always wanted to help Harry, Ron, and Hermione. But yes, I would have been so sad if Hagrid died in Deathly Hallows. So he hasn't been my Избранное but I don't hate him.

'Hate' might be too strong a word, but I certainly do not like Hagrid.
First of all, he is a pathetic excuse for a teacher. How can someone who didn't graduate become a member of the teaching staff is beyond me. Not to mention his dangerous, especially for the students, fascination with magical Животные that should never be presented to third years.

I don't hate him but i don't particularly like him either. He's a good friend to the trio в общем и целом, общая but i get quite bored of him sometimes when i'm Чтение the books. The chapter 'Hagrid's Tale' from Order of the Phoenix has to be my least favourite of all.

I don't hate him, however he's not one of my Избранное characters. Sometimes I get a bit bored when the trio goes over his house. Not enough that I'd hate him though! I think he's a pretty cool character.

no, i think hagrid is funny and, helpful. he gives clues fo thetrio to do something CRAZY but, not on purpuse.

I Любовь HIM , he's a really great and lovable character. I don't get why anyone would hate him, when all he has ever done is been supportive of the trio .

Hagrid is awesome and I don't hate him, he has done alot of help for the gang throughout the Фильмы and has the best pets like Fluffy или Buckbeak.

I don't hate Hagrid, but I don't like him very much. Like many others have said, I get bored with him pretty quickly.

Hagrid is lovable and has еще kindness in his сердце than just about anyone! He may not be the smartest in a lot of ways, but his сердце is in the right place and he is possibly the most loyal character in the Книги (aside from maybe Fawkes? haha). I don't see how anyone could really hate him, even though he may not be everyone's favorite!

I could never hate или dislike Hagrid. He is a sweet, gentle, half giant, who wouldn't hurt a soul. He is also the character who introduced Harry and myself 2 the magic of the Wizarding world.
