I always see the actors now. The ones who have been cast at least the ones who havent I obviously make up a picture.

well i saw the movies first so i think that has an effect. but for books that i read first, THEN see the movie i think of my people.

mainly the movie ones though

It depends, with some I picture them looking like a mix of the actors with how I imagined them before I saw the movies. Like I see Hermione as a more bushy haired, geeky looking version of Emma Watson. I do that with a few, take how they look in the movie and mentally mix it with my original idea of them. There are only one or two I see exactly like the movie versions (Lucius and Luna, mainly) and with others I still see them looking completely different than they do in the movies. Like Narcissa for example, I've always pictured her looking very different than they made her for the movies, and I'll always stick with my version, because the look I see for her fits better with my interpretation of her description and character. Basically it's different with every character, one or two I see as the movie version, some I still see completely as my version and quite a few I see as a mix of the two :)

well I watched the 1st and 2nd movie before I started reading the books so I never had a chance to imagine them for myself, i've always seen the actors who play them. The actors were well cast though.

I agree with everything Mermaid-Tail said. It completely depends on the character.

Only Snape and Bellatrix. The other characters-- like Harry, Ron, & Hermione-- I picture the way I first imagined them. I like them that way much better :)

For example:

The Trio - I imagine the actors
Narcissa Malfoy - I imagine something made up

depends on the character. Mostly the cast is perfect, but there are few I just can't accept. Dumbledore and Narcissa being one of them. I also imagined Lockhart a bit differently, but they made it work in the movie somehow too :D

Yup, for me there are also some characters where I fiercely stick to my first imagination, like Fleur and yeah, Dumbledore too. There are also some which have become a mixure of my own imagination and the actors and some where is flickers between both extremes, Minerva for example. And finally there are characters like Hagrid I always imagine exactly like in the movie because I can't even remember in which way I imagined them differently at first.

some of them look really bad in the movies (i mean different to the books)
For some characters i stick to my own imagination, it depends...

Some people they have casted for the movies were nothing like the character, or what I imagined them to be, so it just depends on the character.
