Eh, it wasn't the perfect movie so I wouldn't say that it should win.

no.....maybe for "Make Up" or "Costumes" or "Special Effects"

but they wouldn't get a chance in the important categories like "Best Actor"/"Best Actress"

I wouldn't even say one of them deserved the Oscar for supporting actor/actress....they all played well yes but none of them was brilliant enough to get an Oscar for it

As I've said before, the Academy doesn't like fantasy movies so it's not likely to win any of the major awards. I think the best bet is Alan Rickman for Best Supporting Actor. It might get nominated for Best Picture but it won't win.

If there is one Oscar for that HP movie, it should go in priority to Alan Rickman - he truly deserves it not only for his amazing performance as Severus Snape, but also because he's one of the greatest actors to ever grace this planet.

Alan was absolutely way more than brilliant enough to deserve Best Supporting Actor, beyond a doubt.

It deserves the recognition for best sound or best make up or best effects, but actors and picture and all that? please. Who would you reward with an oscar? dan radcliffe? Brad Pitt is crying into his pillow.

I think Alan Rickman deserves and Oscar.

Deathly Hallows Part 2 was an incredible HARRY POTTER movie. Not an incredible movie. Not getting Best Film was understandable but snubbing Rickman (Snape) and Despalt (should have won best score) was not cool
