I think just a few (Patils, Seamus, Dean, *cough* Ginny *cough*) but definitely not his closest friends, such as Ron, Hermione, Neville, Luna, George and Fred, and any other close friend I missed.

I think they're more attracted to talk to him, because he's famous, but al his real friends like him because of his personality.

and i totally agree about Ginny... she is totally an attention whore... i mean she is hardly involved in anything... but forces herself into situations with them... she INSISTS on helping when its not her place OR adventure to partake in... just becuase her brother is doesnt mean she gets to tag along... i think she did it for the attention... and same with Harry... she wanted him becuase he was famous

obviously not Ron or Hermionie. But some people only like him because he is famous. Eg in philosophers stone Draco wants to be friends with Harry when he finds out who he is.
6th book - Romilda Vane wants to go out with harry (i think this is because he is famous)
Chamber of Secrets - Lockhart obviously takes a likeing to harry because of his fame.

Harry can tell when someone likes him for his fame. That is why he did not like Ginny at first (when she barely knew him) but then was more attracted to her when she was herself and liked him for him. Clear distinction that Harry is very capable of seeing whoever it is.
