Why would they change Hello Kitty's image?

Back in the день Hello Kitty was this cute little kitty with a red bow and overalls. Now THAT'S the real Hello Kitty. Now, Hello Kitty is an innapropriate icon. She wears these Bratz stuff and she looks goth and everything. Now I'm sure i'm not the only one upset about this! Are you?
