Mashable, the go-to Web site for social media news and information is seeking nominations for it’s “Open Web Awards,” recognizing people in various categories of bloggers and social media users. Among the вверх people nominated in THREE categories is Wilmington’s own Hilarie Burton. She’s nominated in the “Best Actor/Actress to Follow,” “Best Celebrity to Follow,” and “Most Inspiring,” categories. Ты know her as a former звезда of One дерево Hill, filmed here, and for launching her own production company earlier this year.

"One дерево Hill" Фаны were relieved to hear that The CW picked up the show's back nine episodes, allowing for a full Season 8 -- good news, especially considering the fact that it may be the veteran drama's last hurrah.
