Is "House" Good Medicine? 

"...its portrayal of patients as generally young and pretty, not old and riddled with chronic diseases..."

What the monkey bums is this person talking about?! Firstly, isn't the point of the show that the cases that House and his team get or out of the ordinary? Or have I missed the whole point of the show? And secondly, there have been plenty of old people, middle-aged people and kids and not all of them have been, in my opinion, pretty.

LOL! Sometimes people who review shows should just shut their pie holes.

I surely don't watch any tv series for their accurate portrayal of reality - that is very naive of people. and ser, people who can't see House (the character) beyond the jerkiness never really paid attention to the show...

No show's on tv potray "real life" people don't want to watch that. Us humans face reality everyday we want to watch something that we can wish our lives could be like.

Some of that may be true but let's be honest, who watches House for the medicine?
It's an entertainment show, not a documentary!
