Hugh & Lisa Article: I'm proud to be Huli!

Hi!
Well Yesterday I was talking with one of my Huli friends. While we were chatting I remembered something that once one friend of mine told me. Something that really made me think about how come there are so many people bashing us when this Huli thing is so obvious.

We were in the school and I logged in here in FP to read the new chapter of one Huli fic. (we were on a break and there was a Laptop available and the fic was really good so yeaah I did it).
Anywaaay he was beside me and he started Чтение the fic and he (obviously) was like "WTH?" but I didn't care.

He suddenly noticed the baner of the spot (The blue one on the вверх of the spot) where Hugh and Lisa are smiling at each other.

The conversation went like this:

He: What the hell with that "photoshoped" picture??
Me: That picture is not "photoshoped" ¬¬'
He: Of course it is! They just can't look so in Любовь with each other!

I mean. I had never talked to him about Huli. He had watched the Показать a couple of times but he's not even a fan.

With all the new bashing, the fact that I remember this, reminds me that I have strong reasons to be Huli. To believe that we're not delusional, that something actually could be going on between them.

Being Huli is not like "we want to destroy his family"... We don't even have the power to do that. Any день they can Переместить in to the US and shut up everybody's mouth.

When I see them together is so obvious that they're really happy. I don't know Lisa in real life I think I never will and actually I wouldn't like to. But I respect her and I admire her so much. And I would like her to be with a man who deserves her. It's funny that 1000 people in this spot and some many еще out there, think that Hugh is the perfect man for her.
On the other side, I'm not a Фан of Hugh but I like him and I truly prefer to see him like this:

I constantly wonder why I care so much about this.
I guess is because I like them so much.
And I'm really sick of Комментарии like:
"those girls are stupid"
"They are just hurting him and his family by doing what they're doing"
I've felt guilty sometimes because I don't know if what I'm doing is the right thing.

But then I think. "And what if they really want to be together but they don't do it because all of those people who think that if he leaves his wife he would be an awful person?"

Just want to make it clear, that I've never tried to hurt anyone by being Huli. Actually I ship them because I think they could be really happy if they get together. And as a Фан of them that's exactly what I would like them to be.
Hugh doesn't need to clarify anything with anyone but if one день (in case Huli is false) he gets tired of all the rumors and he decides to say publicly that he's happily married and he and Lisa are just friends, I guess that день I would stop being Huli.

Until that день I just want to say that:
There are some people that believe in life outside earth. I believe in Huli, and I believe it's real.
And I hope that if they're in love, they can find a way to make it work.
At least they could be sure that all around the world there is a fandom called "Huli" that would support them. And our voices will silence the ones that belong to the people who are against it.

HouseMindFreak thanks for making this article, I just joined this site and recently became a fan of this club (I was #995) and I feel the same way you do, not sure why but I do. Anyway, great article!

Beatrix8520 I became a Huli with time, you know. First time I signed in...I had never even seen an interview. But it became crystal clear to me after watching the first one, thye couldn't possibly be just friends. I used to love House, the show...I didn't know anything about the actors, their life....didn't even know Hugh was married. So I was not influenced by anyone's thought, nor I started looking at them with the desire to find sth more there. I can separate fiction from reality. I have never shipped a real couple before and I had lots of fictional ones I loved...but it never occured to me Mulder and Scully should be dating in real life...or that Ross and Carol might have an affair outside the set. But Hugh and Lisa...for me it was obvious from the first time I saw them together that there was sth between them. And I don't think we are evil or sth. You just observe and state the evidence beyond the pics and teh interviews. I think people bash us because they are narrow-minded and think we are immoral. But as you said, I believe there are things that go beyond those kind of things...if you know what I mean...and the way they are around each other it's just too beautiful to be regarded as something bad.

EnjoyHuddy Just like Bea( I agree with her on everything), I became Huli with time. At first, when I started watching the show I thought they were together for real. But then I found out Hugh was married, and I couldn't understand why 2 people ,who obviously have chemistry,weren't together. But no matter what. I started shipping them cause they look wonderful together. A thing is shipping House and Cuddy, and another is shipping Hugh and Lisa. It's the first time I ship two real people who are not fictional characters. It looked ridiculous to me that they weren't together, cause it looks like they're just meant to be. And everytime I show my friends pictures of HUGH AND LISA together, they ALWAYS ask me why on earth would I ship a married couple, just like Brangelina (but with less kids LOL). No kidding, they really ask me that. We aren't doing anything bad, and what we do does not physically and personally affect them, or anyone for that matter.It's not like we're pointing a gun at Hugh's head telling him to leave his family and kids and start a new family with Lisa! We just write down how we feel about a possible releationship between the two and how many times we would die if they were together FOR REAL! It's not illegal!

We can only wait but I'm proud to be Huli nonetheless.

Belle0308 I agree. I was always a Huddy since the first episode. I would disregard the whole thing if I hadn't have seen the between scene clips and the few and precious interviews with the two of them. It cast a whole new light.

fofohughfan oh come on in the picture with jo he's just texting or using his mobile you can't say hes unhappy with his wife i think lisa makes him feel like a star and jo makes him feel like a family man that grounded comidian when he first began that doesn't mean im not a huli fan but i really do think that he's happy with his wife

Edithuddy Hi @fofohughfan. Ok I have more HuJo pictures where he really looks... uhm... not-happy but I didn't post it in this article because everybody here have already seen it. I realized that he's kind of texting but my point was clear. On the other hand. You mentioned Jo makes him feel "like a family man". I don't understand how she could make him feel that way when they're separated most of the year. When you get married you do it to stay with that person forever. in the really BAD times and in the GOOD ones. To grow older TOGETHER, to be present in the other party's life when that person start to get succesful and when the things doesn't go that well. Maybe they are ok by being so far from each other. But don't you think that, no matter if H&L are together, Lisa has became his family as well? Family is not only the wife, the kids, the cousin... but the friends and the people who have been there when all the others have gone. To me Lisa is that person to Hugh. Oh and BTW. He's not dancing. He's laughing his ass off at something that Lisa said. ;)

Belle0308 I have read all of your posts and I have thought my reply through...I think. There is a difference between being with someone because that is what you have always known, you share children, memories and plans you have made, AND being happy to be around someone because they make you smile and keep you engaged. A person can be reliable, caring, someone you feel you can depend on and that you love. The kind of person who is good to your children, a provider and so on. That doesn't mean that this is the person who makes you laugh harder than anyone else or anticipates your sense of humor and whom you share unending chemistry with. Some times you find all of these things in one person and sometimes, you don't. I think that Hugh is in a situation where he one person doesn't provide all of these things. I think it seems to be that there are two people who each fill a role in his life. It takes a lot of courage in a marriage where your needs are not being met but nothing is really technically "wrong" to walk away. You don't hate the person, you just aren't that close anymore. I look at the pictures of Hugh and Lisa and I just think that they are in a situation they couldn't have anticipated. There is no easy way through this. They seem in the Upfront pictures like two people who are comfortable in each others presence and in what they mean to each other. There are people in relationships the world over that would give anything to have someone look at them the way these two steal glances at each other and I believe that is a fact.

ItalianHuddy @fofohughfan We could debate back and forth for hours on end on the Huli thing but just one question: do you honestly believe two people can live apart from each other 350 days out of 365 for 6 years going on 7 and not be affected by the distance? Maybe in a charade-type of marriage but not in real life, sorry. Just not human.

anonymously Woah @ItalianHuddy, welcome back! @Belle, I think you explained it the best, sometimes I feel bad for Hugh and Lisa, I just want to hug them and tell them it'll be ok. It must be hard and confusing what they are going through, I don't know how they can handle that and still do amazing work on House.
