Jennifer Aniston Partners with Shire to Raise Awareness for Chronic Dry Eyes

Jennifer Aniston partnered with Shire Initiative to launch eyelove, a new campaign to bring awareness to chronic dry eye.

“My eyes often become dry, itchy and irritated, especially when I am reading or outside,” Jennifer said in a statement. “The symptoms were bothering me so much that I finally decided to speak with my eye doctor, and learned I have Dry Eye.”

Jennifer is encouraging people to go to their eye doctor and find out if they’re having a problem.

“Shire is thrilled to partner with Jennifer Aniston to help educate people about Dry Eye and the steps they can take to maintain and improve their eye health,” Robert Dempsey, Head, Ophthalmics franchise at Shire, added. “As a leading biotech company, we are passionate about making a meaningful and lasting difference in the lives of patients.”

I just saw a commercial for this and they photoshopped her eyes. The whites were so white, they were glowing and they made her blue even more blue. They made it look like she had robot eyes.

Why do companies think this is the only way to sell their crap. Like that stupid makeup foundation commercial with Diane Keaton that played after her award appearance that showed she really did not have smooth skin.

Although I think I’m more upset that we as consumers are more than okay with companies lying to us and allowing them to constantly photoshop things that don’t really look like their ads, commercials, box covers, etc…
