Why is Иисус almost always potrayed as white?

Well Иисус was born in Bethlehem, in the nation Israel and seeing that all israelis are whites they made Иисус white.I'm black too. He came to renew the sins of the then sinners and gentiles but as Christ gave the commission for the disciples to preach to all the nations thats how Христианство spred. But Иисус was of white israeli's origin but expanded this mandate to all the world. Im sure u see now why he is almost always portrayed as white. this should help

Иисус was a Jew. At that time I would think that he would have had a bit darker complexion, simular to the arabs. Alot of Israel is white because they were dispeares and intermarried with people from other nationalities. Ты have to remember, the majority of the Jews in Israel today came from/or thier parents from Европа and Russia. What the exact pigment of his skin was, we don't know. We do know that he came to save all men from all races. Ты could say his Любовь is color blind.

Because, as Ты know, when black Дети are born, they are born white and then darken. Seeing as Иисус cannot age, for He is immortal, he is white.

He's a Jew. He was born in a region of people of that race so that's the (external) race that God gave to him.

It maybe how the European Christians in the Middle Ages portrayed him. But I, and others, believe that since he is a Jew, he most likely doesn't have light skin, blonde hair, and blue eyes, he probably has darker skin, hair, and eyes.

The reason why people portrayed him as white is because it was at Europe, where the belief is (at the time): the whiter Ты are the purer. It also explains many other historical injustices (i.e slavery).
