led the way with six nominations, including best TV movie or limited series, best actress in a TV movie or limited series (Sarah Paulson), and two nods for best actor in a TV movie or limited series (Courtney B. Vance and Cuba Gooding Jr.).
garnered five nominations, for best drama series, best supporting actor in a drama series (Peter Dinklage, Kit Harington), and best supporting actress in a drama series (Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke).
also scored five nominations, including best comedy series, best actress in a comedy series (Ellie Kemper), best supporting actress in a comedy series (Jane Krakowski), and best supporting actor in a comedy series (Tituss Burgess).
Also landing several nominations were AMC’s
HBO topped all networks with 22 nominations, followed by ABC and Netflix with 14 apiece and FX with 12.
Presented by the Broadcast Film Critics Association and the Broadcast Television Journalists Association, the Critics’ Choice Awards will air live Dec. 11 at 8 p.m. ET on A&E.
