I have a different relationship with both!

When I need to talk about serious stuff or problems I go to my mum cause I feel like she understands me more, when I'm in a goofy mood my dad's better :p

I have a different/special bond with both and I'm super close with both but I guess I'm a bit more closer to my mom because we're also like best friends and she's the one person I trust everything to but yeah both <3

My mom died as a kid so I don't remember if I was close to her before that or not, as for my dad we have a bit of a strained relationship but there is love for sure.

I don't know... I used to be super close with my mom, but after everything with the drugs and her attitude, it's hard to get back to anywhere near what we were before. I'm glad she's stayed clean, but her attitude is still pretty much the same, she doesn't do anything to contribute and it's so frustrating :(

My dad, things have definitely gotten better since I was a teenager, and I love my dad - I know he loves me - but it's still so frustrating at times. We have such different views, he's an extreme Republican/Conservative, and that's fine I respect differing beliefs, but he's said some prejudiced things over the years and it just will never sit right with me...
