Do Ты think James is the reason Snape and Lily weren't friends?

I think if Sev didnt hate James and his Друзья so much he probably wouldnt want to impress Lily by having potent friends. I dont think he became death eater because of his conviction but cause he wanted to beat James.

I agree with both of you. But James might have been a small factor. Don't get me wrong I Любовь the couple of Lily and James. Just that James got in between them in my opinion. If Ты think about the день when they stopped being Друзья James did start the teasing but still it was Snape's choice to call lily what he did. So I think it was mostly Snapes fault but James might have had some contribution

Severus had his faults can't deny that but i believe James was always jealous of Lily's friendship with Sev and would have done anything to sabotage it. Hanging Sev upside down in front of everyone wasn't just teasing it was bullying and humiliating. Then Lily the girl he Любовь comes along and saves him even еще humiliating for a teenage boy i can understand why in the heat of the moment he called her a mudblood wrong yes, but, If Lily had truly understood him she would have eventually listened to him and forgiven him thats just my 2 cents worth LOL of course everything JK wrote was for a reason else there would be no HP :D

Lily finished her friendship with Snape for 2 reasons. First was the fact that he called her a mudblood. секунда was the future Death Eaters he was hanging out with, and the dark arts he was practising and getting increasingly obsessed with. Neither reason had anything to do with James. If James had told her she should stop being Друзья with Snape - или even suggested that idea - it seems to me that she'd refuse.
