Don't even pay attention to his girlfriend. Just say a plain simple ''I Любовь you'', breathe and don't add much after that. He's gonna fall for Ты if Ты really beleive and don't give up hope. It might take a while but don't give up!

And also, ignore other people's stupid comments. This is your life. And don't let them make Ты feel guilty like that. Ur worth еще than that! Just let them tell Ты that ur a jerk and don't let it get to you. People can say what they wanna say but just don't let it affect you.
