A Strange Way to Fall in Любовь Chapter Nine
Juvenile detention was so boring. I had nothing to with Lola being gone. I mean usually we would just sit and hang out. But now that she was at hospital there was not much to do. I did not know any of the other kids around here. Most of them looked like freaks anyways.
After the incident I came back here to the juvenile detention. But I stayed over night then I had to go talk to Horatio.
I sat in one of the glass rooms in Horatio's building. Did he have bad news about Lola? Was Lola getting out and was I going to have to stay in longer? или would it be the other way around?
"Kyle, it is good to see you," Horatio сказал(-а) as he walked in.
"Hey, Ты too," I said, "is something wrong?!"
"No, not at all! Lola should be here soon," he stated, "I just wanted to thank Ты before Lola got here! Thank Ты for keeping Lola безопасно, сейф and giving us the details that we needed."
"No problem. I am glad I could help," I said, "is everything all right with Lola?"
"Oh yeah, she is fine," he сказал(-а) as Lola walked in.
"Kyle," Lola laughed, "everything is fine! Ты worry way to much!"
"Sure, whatever," I said.
Lola came over and hugged me. I was sort surprised by it.
"Did Ты miss me," she asked.
"I did," I laughed, "I think that I was еще worried about in stead!"
"I was totally fine; great Актёрское искусство by the way," she said.
"Thank you, thank you, I tried," I сказал(-а) jokingly.
"So Horatio, why did Ты bring us both here," Lola asked as she cut straight to the point, "we could have seen each other in juvy."
"Maybe I brought Ты two here because Ты would not be seeing each other in juvenile detention," Horatio сказал(-а) as Lola cut him off.
"Are Ты kidding," she asked, "I made a friend and now Ты are separating us?"
"Hold on, Lola," he сказал(-а) as Lola cut him off again.
"I know Ты сказал(-а) Ты would give us less time in juvy but I would rather have еще time in there if that meant I would have a friend," she stated.
"Lola, if Ты let me finish I would tell Ты that Ты two are not getting separated," Horatio сказал(-а) a little angry, "I brought Ты two here to tell Ты that Ты are not going back to juvenile detention."
"Alright," I сказал(-а) as I sighed in relief.
"Then where are we going," Lola asked confused.
"Back to the orphanage where Ты two were original at," he said.
"Better than nothing," I shrugged.
It was a little disappointing having to go back to the orphanage but it was a lot better than juvenile detention.
"I guess that is true," she сказал(-а) disappointed.
I watched as Lola slumped down on the диван, мягкий уголок and sat there; still looking disappointed.
"Come on, Lola," I said, "it is not the end of the world!"
"It is going to be so boring after we did," Lola said, "is there anymore missions we can go on?!"
"No Lola," Horatio сказал(-а) oddly, "you cannot do that. Kyle, can Ты give Lola and I a минуты to talk?"
"Sure, I will wait outside," I said.
I walked out the door and watched as Lola and Horatio talked. I sat outside watching them talk. It was something serious too! Lola did not crack a smile. Well, she sometimes does not crack many smiles. I saw her stand up and point a finger at Horatio. She was also yelling. A cop came over to them and stepped in between; but Horatio сказал(-а) something to him and he went back to the corner. Horatio kept is cool the whole time while Lola was screaming. It looked as if she was ready to throw a chair across the room. She never threw it across the room but she did throw it into one of the glass walls. That is when Horatio got mad. Glass was everywhere. They were both screaming and the cop was just standing there speechless.
"What is going on," I asked as I walked in the room.
"Nothing," Lola sighed, "let's go!"
"Um, okay," I сказал(-а) sort of confused, "do Ты wanna talk about it!"
"Absolutely not," she сказал(-а) as she followed the cop out of the building.
"Okay," I shrugged.
