Yeah okay, so quite a lot went down at the Teen Choice Awards this week, but aside from celebrities falling arse over tit and loads of big names scooping up surfboards yada yada yada, Luke Hemmings unveiled his brand new facial hair so everything else was irrelevant.

The unexpected sight of Hemmo avec beard was a LOT for the 5SOS fandom to deal with, and seeing as it was such a life changing sight for so many, he\'s even been chatting about his facial hair sitch on the actual radio.

Chatting to Scott Mills on BBC Radio 1 about all things hairy and facial, Luke sounded pretty proud of himself as he said: "Ahh, thank you for noticing. They noticed, I\'ve got a beard, thank you", before admitting that it is slightly just a kind of "lazy beard".

"It just came out of nowhere and I just decided that I want to embrace it", he added, officially reaching peak manliness.

Not all of 5SOS are quite so blessed with the ability to sprout hair willy nilly from their bits and pieces though, as Luke went on to reveal that bandmate Calum is pretty much silky smooth all over.

"Calum got armpit hair like a few months ago, he\'s pretty excited about that. Don\'t bring up beards around Calum, he gets emotional", Hemmo confessed. Poor hairless Cal Pal.
