Petition for a Series 6 Of Merlin 

Arthur, Morgana, Mordred, and Gwaine are dead. How do you expect them to carry on for a sixth season? There are only two possible ways they could do that. 1. Show Gwen's reign, but without Arthur the show just wouldn't be the same. 2. Have it take place in the 21st century with Arthur being resurrected, but then we'd only have Merlin and Arthur.

Arthur gets resurrected by Merlin in an epic feat of magic by Merlin and the story continues with the acceptance of magic in the realm.

That would be fine, except they show Merlin in modern times at the end of the finale, which strongly suggests that Arthur has not returned yet.

Ummm.... the way the show ended it wouldn't really make sense to make a season 6 unless as most suggested already, we make it in the 21st century and I (Of course) can play the great great great great great grand daughter of Gwen (Thank You very much), and have some wonderful adventures with Merlin, but in all honesty, I feel that Merlin ended on a good note. Merlin in the 21st century would be a joke. The medieval Era game Merlin that extra *umph*. I really can't see Merlin in modern times, the show will go down hill. Let's just be happy for our five seasons. Merlin started off epic and made an unforgetful ending. I know we love Merlin to death but let's not bring Merlin to it's death. Merlin ended in a way which would live in our hearts forever.

As for sequels, Alex Vlahos who played Mordred said he'd jump at the chance to reprise the role as a prequel to S5. Anyway, it won't do any good unless you write to Shine or Fremantle. And, no one has...

i think they need to make the season 6 .it should not ended that way.

Series 6 would be a good idea. Actually, they should re-do the second half of series 5.
