One день she gets a letter in the mail addressed to her, but with no return label. So she decides to open it. When she does it is a note written from Michael explaining about the night he spent with Diana. Here's what it said.

Ashley lifted her head off of Michael's shoulder and wiped her tears.
"I can't believe you're here, Mike. It's been so long." Ashley said, sniffling.
Michael chuckled. "It's only been a couple days, Ash." He said.
Ashley rubbed the back of her head. "I know, but it seemed like years."
Michael moved one of his hands to her cheek and caressed her cheek with his thumb. Ashley closed her eyes and started to smile. She thought she'd never smile again.
