If you thought Miley Cyrus’ Kennedy phase was just a thing, you’d be wrong as according to insiders the Wrecking Ball swinger is deadly serious about her relationship with Patrick Schwarzenegger, 21 and he’s just as into her.

The duo started dating last October, a year after Miley, 22, split from ex-fiancee Liam Hemsworth and initially it was thought it was just a bit of fun between Bangerz babe Miley and party-boy Patrick, but TMZ have reported that they’re so serious, it’s already a done deal that they’ll one day get married.

A source has confirmed this is no publicity stunt or fling they’re “full-on in love,” and that there relationship is incredibly “intense.”

When the Kennedy Prince, the son of Maria Shriver and former Govonator Arnold Schwarzenegger, first hooked up with Miley last year eyebrows were raised over how well the pot-loving, Molly taking, twerk loving singer would get on with his family. The Kennedy’s and their extended family are basically American royalty and after Taylor Swift’s disastrous relationship with Conor Kennedy, it’s understandable why they’d be cautious about letting another of their princes get mixed up with Hollywood.

But according to insiders, Miley is going to extreme lengths to impress Maria and is not just covering up when she sees the journalist and philanthropist, she’s making an effort to make sure she doesn’t come across like a Valley party girl.

Patrick is incredibly close to his mother and no doubt Maria, who has had her fair share of scandal thanks to Arnold’s love child, will no doubt be protective about her son becoming a tabloid target.

One thing is true, is that they love to party. When they first got together there were photos all over the place of the pair hitting Art Basel in Miami hard, with Miley appearing to be smoking a spliff while hanging out on a balcony with Patrick.

Friends apparently thought it was just a party hook-up, but that now things are getting “deeper” and the feeling is definitely mutual.

While we’re happy for Miley and Patrick, they’re a super cute couple, it’s not like we haven’t heard all this before. Cyrus was after all engaged to Liam Hemsworth before the split and was very vocal about how much she loved him.

The real test will be when Miley’s next album comes out. Last time she was naked all over the shop and talking about sex and drugs. Will she be doing the same now she’s with Pat. A factor in her split with Liam was apparently the Hemsworth’s family’s dislike of her outrageous behaviour, will she tone it down for Patrick?
