I like both but hearing a unique new style voice is always cool :)

I love both so much. However it's nice to find something fresh, especially in pop when a lot of artists seem to shoot for the same vocal style.

I think most of the singers I like have unique vocals

If a singer's voice is both talented and unique, even better, but unique voices just by themselves don't necessarily sound great to my ears.

Both are important, but to me actually the singing technique means more than anything and the ones that lack talent or have very weak voices will never be my top fave even if they have good songs. But that doesn`t mean that I don`t care for unique voices.
