A musical that you've seen but don't like all that much.

Hairspray-Tracy was really annoying! Not only was she blindly optimistic but also doesn't have a grasp on reality. First of all, 90% people, especially the whites weren't ready for integration. секунда of all, some men, like Link, actually don't like plus-size girls. Additionally, Link and Tracy lacked chemistry. Link seemed to be comfortable with Amber. He looked awkward and uncomfortable with Tracy. Even thier Kiss together was awkward. Penny/Seaweed were much еще interesting than them! At least those two have chemistry.

Mamma Mia-I'm not too crazy about the story line. I think the whole "Which man is my father?" thing could have been solved easily if the daughter, her mom, her real dad, and the other two suitors, took a DNA test. The Музыка was only the good part.

Chicago-nasty. I didn't get what the whole thing was about. All the characters were unlikeable.

Spring Awakening-OMG! I freaking hate this musical!! First of all, the Музыка was terrible because it didn't fit well with the play's timeline. In the 1890s, people listened to classical Музыка and ragtime; not stupid rock n' roll! C'mon! It's so unrealistic! Having the cast sing rock n' roll despite living in the 1890s is like having the Beauty and the Beast cast sing rap despite living in the mid-1700s. The songs also had forgettable melody and lyrics.

The teenagers came off as perverts; instead of innocent children who are confused about puberty. The adults were also unbearable to watch. The play failed to give me an explanation on why the adults were too scared to tell their children about puberty and sex.
The sex scenes were also too much for me to watch because 1) they were gross. 2)they were raunchy. 3) they were not romantic at all. 4)they were gross.
I understand that the play's message was "Tell your children about sex and puberty before they do anything stupid," which is good. However, I know many teenage girls who knew about sex/puberty, but were still stupid enough to get pregnant out of wedlock anyway. Therefore, the play's aseop isn't still strong enough to give the parents a "wake up call."

Pippin. The Показать was really well done, but I disliked the Музыка and the characters. It simply annoyed me, but I sat through it because I had a friend in it.

Mamma Mia. The storyline, in my opinion, is flimsy at best. And I may be shot for saying this, but I really don't like ABBA. I like Dancing Queen, Waterloo, and Mamma Mia, but that's really it.

CATS. I don't know why, but the Музыка just never pulled me and I didn't like the story line.

And while I like the Phantom of the Opera, I can't watch it often because I can't stand Christine. Everytime she is onstage/screen I want to strangle her. I hate her so freakin' much. Everyone says the Phantom played with her, but I think she played him.

Hairspray, I just could never force myself to watch it again.

Rock of Ages - OMG! What a mess! By the time when I saw it, Constatine wasn't there, who is the only reason why I wanted to watch it. The storyline went downhill very fast, I didn't like the characters (except the owner of the bar, I forgot his name), and the sexual references made me cringe (I mean, one of the characters is named Regina, for god sake). And the songs, OMG the songs. They butchered great 80's songs. Sometimes, the actors sang off-key and some of the songs didn't fit the mood of some scenes (I like one или two songs that they sang in the musical, but that's it). And they butchered "Don't Stop Believing" completely, I mean, there was a part that an actor sang in spanish. Overall, it was horrible

Cats: It was just strange. I also like Мюзиклы with dialogue because I couldn't always understand what the characters were singing.

South Pacific: There is really only one thing that bothers me with this show. Usually in a musical the fist scene that introduces the male lead is meant to get Ты to like him. The fist scene with Emille just made him seem boring. I did not see anything in common with Nellie. She seemed cute and sweet and he just seemed stuffy and boring.

West Side Story. Everything about it was just... horrible.

:( ... I loved Hairspray.

My Fair Lady. I didn't really like the characters all that much, and there wasn't that many good songs.

Кошки was a little strange, but I Любовь the music!

I like Hairspray, though!

-Mama Mia - For all the reasons that have already been stated. And yes ABBA sucks.

-Rent- I'll probably get flack for this one but I can't stand this musical, the plot is stupid as are the characters I mean if someone was going to lower my rent I wouldn't wine about the fact that I have to pay it because its a artsy protest, pay your freakin' rent! and shut up!
