i'm a uni student, doing an essay on fandom, can people tell me why the are fans of nirvana?

I am a nirvana fan because they had songs about not fiting in and things like that and I can relate to that. Also they where and even though they are not around any more still fucking awesome.

People are Nirvana fans because the message of their lyrics are universal. The misfit, outcast, emotions of teenage angst. Nirvana is something we all go through.
