MTV have launched a brand new “Battle of the Boybands” competition, pitting 32 boybands from over the years against each other. Each band gets voted for against their opponents, and the winner goes through to the Далее stage, with there being two еще stages after that, culminating in the final.
In round one, One Direction are paired with день 26, and currently lead the way with 87% of the vote – so it should be еще или less или formality that we’ll get to the Далее stage. The Wanted face Color Me Badd in the first round, so they should also coast through as well.
A couple of tough draws in round one include NKOTB vs Take That, and Backstreet Boys vs Westlife. Who would Ты vote for out of those?
Other notable bands in the competition include, Backstreet Boys, The Beatles, Take That, Big Time Rush, NSync, Jonas Brothers and many, many more.

The boy band finalists are thought to be over in the States to work on their forthcoming debut album.

It’s nice to see the boys are genuinely close enough to fall asleep on each other (we could do with a shoulder right now too) but they’re clearly being overworked since finishing the X Factor and have been staying up well past their bedtimes.

One Direction were reportedly asked to leave a health centre after causing havoc in the facilities swimming pool.
The boys are reported to have upset fellow visitors to the centre by jumping in the pool, bombing and splashing other people near the water.
Harry, Louis, Niall, Zayn and Liam have also got into trouble for allowing girls into their hotel late at night, with many people kept awake in the process.
It's all harmless however, as The Sun reports:
"The Фаны were banging on doors at 3am. Unfortunately, most guests were businessmen staying in the hotel for a conference and they weren't best pleased," a Источник told the paper.
