i am glad i opted to go with glee instead of this and this was by far the dumbest episode i like that they tackled the bulling issue but as superheroes is dumb and if with this crap i will still watch because i love this show hopefully next week will make up for this piece of crap
Disappointed isn't even the word. There really ARE no words for my thoughts right now.
I guess to sum it up... embarrassment. Embarrassed by the fact that I'm still considered a "fan". Embarrassed that I've boasted to SO many people about how amazing this show is, I'm sure all of those people are probably judging me in a very negative way, by now lol. Embarrassed for Mark. Embarrassed for the crew. And embarrassed for the actors. EMBARRASSED!
Was last night's episode a disappointment? Yes.
But am I ashamed of being a OTH fan? No, never. In fact, I expect those letdowns every once in a while, I mean let's face it: OTH has changed. A lot. And just by looking at the promo we should've known that this was gonna be a crappy episode. So I'm not really disappointed. I kinda expected that. But so far I LOVE season 8 and I won't let an episode like this ruin it for me :D
im not embarrassed to be a fan...BUT im DISAPPOINTED for sure....the last seasons apart from some moments that i really liked and apart from some characters (like Alex and Clay) the rest of the show just keeps falling....they should have closed the show in season 6...
its a shame coz the first 6 seasons for me were amazing!!!thats the reason im not embarrassed coz i still hold on to the amazing seasons...
YES and NO....good parts and some not so good parts.... This was definitely my least favorite episode of the series...because well it was the most unrealistic of any of the other episodes and the superhero part was just so stupid.I am not embarrassed to be a fan of this show because this is just 1 crappy episode.
I think some are more stating a dislike of s8 as a whole, considering the last few eps.
And this one broke the camel's back. Not just one bad episode, but a string of bad choices made for s8.
I cannot figure out why Mark can't find the line between making his characters not have break up drama without being cheesy happy. Happy people aren't cheesy, nor does all drama lead to break ups.
We can have a regular episode without stalkers, or break ups, or hit and runs if he actually thought about it.

^Completely agree.
I actually couldn't stop laughing during the "show-down", it was actually kind of funny.
Yes, we did expect it to be lame, but why should we have to conform our ideas of the show being as such? It was fun and light hearted but you have to agree it was not the same show we came to love. I will be the first one to accept change for the better, if it is better.
One episode does not define me as hating the show, it's the past few "campy" episodes that have made it difficult to call myself a fan, it's the choices for s8 that make it hard. It seems like Mark really doesn't care or just has no ideas for what the show used to be, we don't have to repeat history but they can at least write consistently.
Last nitghts ep was a bit crap but i still loved it, best bit was alex singing, but one bad epsiode of oth doesnt overide all the amazing episodes they ave done
I liked it. Not one of my favorites, but not one of my least favorites either. Probably the worst episode of season 8, but imo not one of the worst. I thought it was kinda funny in a WTF way. And I agree with oth-rocks. One episode is not gonna ruin OTH. I'm still proud to be a fan.
absolutely not, it was in my opinion finally one of the first fun and lighthearted episodes in ages. God I missed that. Just girls having fun in stead of having to deal with serious heavy problems/issues all the time. It was a refreshing change :) I just hope they won't have too many of these episodes.
Idk how you guys continue to watch it. Like I couldn't watch something that just continuously made me angry, disappointed and missing the show I used to know. Whenever I talk about OTH people assume I'm talking about the crap that's on now and it's embarrassing. I just pretend that the show's over lol
^ Very well said. I'm really, really almost at that point! I wanted to stick with it until the end, just out of loyalty, and curiousity. But I just don't know how much more of this BS I can take :/
Like very cause it seemed like it was a children tv show you know , like the ones at which 6-7 year old kids are watching.
I will stick to watching it to the end so I will see to where point will this non sense go but I hope i can resist lol , if there will be another episodes like these...
I'm not ashamed cause OTH is mainly the early season so I watch it now cause I care about Brooke and Naley but sometimes I feel these episodes are so strayed from the true OTH.
HOPEFULLY it will make up for it Terra DG Hope.

Maybe it should be called "One Flew Over the Coo-coos Nest" instead of One Tree Hill.

People on FB liked it, guess people are easily amused these days, not accustomed to a standard of an episode like most of us.
"One Terrible Hill" ©
It was such a light and childish episode! I did like it:)
p.s. I thought it would be the way worse that it is!
