Actually Lucas first started liking Peyton before Brooke..if you watch Season 1..and yeah I liked Brooke and Lucas together but.. Peyton and Lucas are amazing together so they should be together.. I hope that Chase and Brooke get back together though~~~
I LOVE LOVE Brucas. From the beginning, I wasn't the biggest fan, but when she warmed up to Lucas and let herself be vulnerable, she changed and they grew close and sweet. I love them!
brucas has been and gone, they just had to wait for a while to get lucas and peyton together or else they would have missed out on half of the storyline. I think Mark Schwahn intended them (leyton) to end up together.
I choose leyton because it seems more real. Okayy if in real life lucas and brooke can't make a rekationship work then it wont happen on the show. Also they are divoreced so i think neither of them want to play love scenes with each other!
I love peyton so0o0o0 much..... She is lyk the best female character in the series and the most interesting ...... After everything she's been through she should end up with lucus ..... She and i are so0o0o0 alike thats probably why i lyk her so0o0o0 much nd Lucus was Truely Madly nd Deeply in love with her in season one and in the Season 3 episode 'First day on a brand new planet' lucus reads his prediction for the year ahead and it says "This year i will finally speak to Peyton Sawyer" .... Brooke is better. Peyton and Lucas are such a boring couple. To me, there's no real chemistry between them because their relationship is more about relying on each other rather than loving. Brooke changed because of Lucas and their relationship is so bizarre and unconventional because you wouldn't suspect someone like Brooke and Lucas to be together but they work so well.
Peyton is just a girl who asks for pity from others and Lucas felt sorry for her. She seems to crave attention because of her mom but seriously, we've all lost loved ones. We don't shout it out to the world and try to make ppl aware of our sadness.

Leyton may have their occasional boring moments, but they're way better off together than brucas. Leyton was way overdue, and now all this buildup, 3 years later has left alota fans sick of the leyton dance. I'm glad that brooke broke up with luke. Brooke summed up why they don't work pretty well in the first eppy of season 4. I’ll admit, Brooke has her charm, but it’s better off spent with someone else.
I only wish that lucas coulda realized that Brooke was right to end it instead of chasing after her for another few eppys. He just didn't get it; even after peyton declared her love for him. Ok, even if I was a brucas fan, I can’t deny that Luke’s love for Brooke did not go deep enough. Once brooke realized where luke’s heart truly was, she had to push him…over and over again, into realizing it too. I know it pains the brucas fans to see it, but it’s the way the story’s unfolded.
I mean seriously, do you brucas fans really think that they coulda stuck it out with the way things were going? Lucas may not have realized he wanted Peyton all along right away, but since he and brooke officially got together in S3, he always ran to Peyton’s rescue thereafter. Their scenes together in seasons 1-3 broke my heart, cause they were real, & deep. He never truly let Peyton go, & that showed throughout the seasons. If Brucas had that, I’d be torn on which couple to cheer for, heh.
Do you guys see luke rescuing brooke now that he has peyton? Peyton never had to go through what brooke went through with luke. She felt like she was “hanging on for dear life” as she quoted. The relationship was one sided in alot of ways. He never really knew brooke, and yet loved her for her good heart. That just wasn’t enough for brooke, but that was all luke was giving her…words & occasional affection. The depth was barely there near the end.
Brooke cried out in the S3 finale “Why don’t you ever let me all the way in?” and as Brooke mentions in ep1s4, she and Lucas rarely shared meaningful conversations. They just don't belong together. I won't deny that some (not all) of the Leyton scenes have been dry in S4. Partially cause of lazy acting and cheezy scripting. I’m hanging onto Leyton’s magic from S1-3. Schwahn, Hilary and Chad need to spice it up to keep the Leyton fans interested. Guess we'll see what happens in S5!
And for all you Peyton haters who think she’s boring and annoying when she self loathed…I’m sorry…have any of you been through what this character has? It was realistic for her to react the way she did and be the way she was given what she faced over the years. She’s grown a lot thanks to her family (what’s left of them) and her friends. Lucas was there for her a lot more than he needed to be. Leyton shares a deep connection seeing as how they’ve been through similar things. This is gonna sound cheesy, but they're broken people (pieces) who just fit together. Ok, I'm done blathering, haha.
I think that Brooke and Lucas were great together, at least when peyton wasn't getting in the way. It was so annoying when peyton would run to Lucas for everything. I know i wouldn't be running to my best friends boyfriend everytime I had a problem.
