I guess they just don't have very many good dreams ;D
Well, anyways, let me explain why I dislike these dreams.
I don't remember the one in 5x12.
2.20 was a heart-breaker. "I had this amazing dream. We switched lives. Haley was tone deaf". I was dying on the inside. I was pulling for naley so much, I could not even begin to explain the heart ache this episode gave me. And in the dream, Haley abandoned poor nate at the end... And when it didn't have to do with naley it was just STUPID.
4.10- I HATED this one. I loved the episode but I hated the dream sequences. I DID NOT believe that Haley wouldn't have come back had it not been for Luke... eventually Haley would have come back on her own, regardless if Luke had visited her or not. He didn't even do anything to convince her to come back! Haley was a GREAT person, and she knew the difference between right and wrong. And even if she did make a mistake, I knew she would have fixed it. ON HER OWN. And I believe had Peyton died Brooke would NOT have become a goth-girl, she and Lucas would have still been together, and it's not like she would have blamed Luke because the possiblity of him even going in to the school to save P. Sawyer wasn't even in her mind. Eventually she would have recovered, still holding the pain in her heart, but she would have remained strong ESPECIALLY with a relationship like Brucas's and friendships like braley and brouth. She would have remained strong because that's WHO SHE WAS.
The one with keith and karen (It's actually in 4.21) was sweet, but it wasn't really important. It was just Keith saying his last goodbye to Karen. I thought they could have directed it a whole lot better. :]
1treehillfan, you have the right to your opinion. but remember, in this dream thing, luke was a lesser guy. a lesser guy brooke may not have ever fallen for. a lot of the reason brooke fell for luke was because he gave so much to ppl (including her). she may not have necessarily blamed him for Peyton's death, but she sure would have been angry for a good while and may have gone through that dark phase of anger, isolation and resentment (not to mention regret). I don't think that tragedy would have pushed brucas together at all. but I have to agree with you about 4.10 in general, the dream sequences were cheesy for the most part (mostly on luke's part - chad did a crap acting job so the scenes were not as strong as they could have been). I did like the scene where he saw an old woman at his grave who was revealed to be peyton cause she could never let go of him. That was cool. Chad didn't do a bad job in that scene. The pain in his voice when he said "Peyton" (as he realized who was standing over his grave) was very convincing :)
but ultimately, when Peyton was daydreaming about her wedding with lucas, it was bittersweet. Her face when she imagined it and the sequence itself was heart wrenching. My absolute fav dream sequence.
this one was sooo beautiful aww!
But I didn't like 2x20 much.
