OUTLANDER star Caitriona Balfe has thanked fans after her stunning win at the People\'s Choice Awards 2016.
The Irish actress, who plays Claire Fraser in the Starz series, scooped the award for Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actress.
Despite being unable to attend the awards ceremony due to work commitments, Caitriona was ecstatic with the result.
And she took to Twitter to thank her ever-increasing fanbase for helping her to secure the win.
Caitriona tweeted: "Ahhhhhhh. You guys are so amazing!!!! Thank you all for voting... I am so grateful. #beatfansever #OutlanderPCA2016 #Outlander."

The actress beat off tough competition from Emilia Clarke, Ginnifer Goodwin, Jennifer Morrison and Lady Gaga to pick up the win.
Caitriona\'s co-star Sam Heughan sadly missed out on the Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actor gong, with the award going to Supernatural star Jensen Ackles.
But the Scots actor was delighted to see his on-screen wife pick up the award for her category.

It was double delight on the night for Outlander, with the show landing the Favourite Cable TV SciFi/Fantasy Show award at the live ceremony at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
Fans voted Outlander ahead of American Horror Story, Game of Thrones, Teen Wolf and The Walking Dead to pick up the prestigious award.
And the cast and crew will be hoping to add to their trophy cabinet at the Golden Globe awards later this month.
The show is nominated for Best Drama Series at the Golden Globes, while Caitriona Balfe is in the running for Best Drama Actress and Tobias Menzies has been shortlisted for Best Supporting Actor.
