Chapter 10
The penguins cruised around the town of New Jersey, looking for their old pal Rico, whom had left a note in the HQ telling them where he was going. They didn’t know so, but they were going to find him sooner than they thought.
“Look, Skippah!” Private pointed at Rico whom was walking tiredly. His left foot limped and he seemed to be talking to himself. Ash looked at him and instantly knew that he was Rico.
“Well…go get him!” Ash jumped out of the vehicle and pulled her flipper out at him. He just stared at it, confused. She rolled her eyes and pulled him in, and they made their way back to the zoo.
“No…We…go….here….” Rico gasped and he gave Skipper the address that Dru had found. Then Rico remembered and he looked back. Dru was left on the street. She smiled and gave heroically at him and he waved back.
“Looks like we have a wedding to crash, boys.” Skipper laughed and they turned around and headed for the wedding that was many miles away. But they would make it…with Kowalski’s transporter present, anything was possible.
Kowalski pulled out his transportation machine and Ash sighed. He was so smart…he was much too perfect to be a real guy…maybe he was a robot, but she doubted that because she had slept on him and he was warm and soft.
“Place it at the front of the vehicle, Kowalski.” And he did as told…then…there was a flash.
They all looked around wondering if they were at the wedding already.
“Looks like my machine has a few…minor difficulties.” Kowalski examined the area around him. They were back in Madagascar and he stared lazily. “Eh…I can fix this.” He сказал(-а) and did as his words said.
[~Meanwhile~]
“Oh my beauty.” Richard сказал(-а) as he place a diamond ожерелье around Marlene’s neck. She stared at it with hatred and felt like biting his finger off. She knew Rico probably would if he were there. She smiled at the thought of him, but frowned when Richard’s paw ran across her neck.
“The wedding is tonight my sweet.” He chuckled evily.
“No…Rico will come for me. He is my best friend.” She smiled at the thought of having him trust her with everything. She then felt her mind paint imaginary pictures of when he was always with her.
“Oh…sure he will.” Richard smiled. “Now come my love. We are to go to the cathedral. I invited many people.”
“How many?” Marlene whispered in fear.
“5 families. Which is enough for me.” He smiled and pulled her arm swiftly out of the room.
