I humiliate myself in front of total strangers all the time. But in front of people I know well ... I humiliate myself quite often then too!

If it was in front of people that I dont know it isnt so bad cuz I most likely wont ever see them again.

It depends on the TYPE of humiliation.

In front of strangers it's just one time thing, you know, it happens and you can forget that. Humiliation in front of people you know well is different, because you can't be sure it's not gonna be remembered to you.

I don't care about people I don't know. My logic is I probably won't see them again. And if I do, then what I did to humiliate myself will be a great ice-breaker.

I don't care about people I'll never see again, they'd just forget whatever I did anyway. Whereas I'd have to keep seeing someone I know well and they would probably never let it go.

I find it hard to be humiliated though, so I guess I'll have to wait and see.

i fell bad when people i don't know laugh at me,soon they start gossiping.....one time me and my brother where having a grass fight and some girl drove by and was laughing her head off!i bet she told everyone she knew!!

people you know can hold it over your head for forever, people you don't know you'll probably never see again

because the people you don't know will just be like "did you see that chick?" because they have no idea who you are :D

It's obvious to me.

In front of people you don't know? Chances are that you'll never see them again and it doesn't matter if they remember the stupid girl who did something totally stupid and humiliating. But people you know well? Well, you're probably see them again before the weeks out! Will they remember? Probably, now they may not mention it, but that don't matter. They still probably remember it and you'd rather melt into the floor than face them again. (BTW, the Stupid girl is me! So please no one take offense.)
