"DUMB WITNESS" (1996) Review

There is a belief among Фаны of the "AGATHA CHRISTIE'S POIROT" series that the episodes and Телевидение Фильмы that aired between 1989 and 2001 - ones that featured Arthur Hastings, Chief Inspector Japp and Miss лимон - were еще faithful adaptations of Agatha Christie's novels that the еще Последнее ones that have aired since 2003. I do not know if I agree with this opinion, especially after viewing the 1996 Телевидение movie, "DUMB WITNESS".

"HICKORY DICKORY DOCK" began with a rash of thefts committed at a student hostel in 1936 London. Since her sister is the hostel's warden, Miss лимон recruits her boss, Belgian detective Hercule Poirot, to investigate what appears to be a case of kleptomania. It does not...

"HERCULE POIROT'S CHRISTMAS" (1994) Review

I have been a Фан of Agatha Christie's 1938 novel, "Hercule Poirot's Christmas" aka "A Holiday for Murder" for years - ever since I was in my early adolescence. When I learned that the producers of the "AGATHA CHRISTIE'S POIROT" series aired its adaptation of it back in 1994, I looked вперед to watching it.

Written as a "locked room" mystery, "HERCULE POIROT'S CHRISTMAS" focused on Belgian sleuth Hercule Poirot's investigation of the murder of Simeon Lee, a tyrannical patriarch of a wealthy family. The mean-spirited Lee, who had made his fortune in...
