The age requirement for becoming a trainer shouldn't be 10.

It should be less than 10, in my opinion. There are so many characters on the Показать that are younger than 10, but they're quite mature for their age, mainly Bonnie and Max. There was also an episode of the best Wishes series "Clash of the Connoisseurs" when Mr. Hatiley needed Cilan's assistance in picking out his daughter, Marigold's first Pokémon, and ноготки, календула, бархатцы looked like she was only 5. However despite Marigold's young age she already has a Покемон of her own, which is a Foongus she would always play with on her swingset. Now, Bonnie is only 6, and she also already has a Покемон of her own which is Dedenne (yes I know that Clemont was the one who caught Dedenne, but he caught it so that Bonnie could take care of it and raise it, and also Dedenne is always seen being carried around in Bonnie's кошелек and is never inside it's Pokéball, so that's why I believe Dedenne belongs to Bonnie). Bonnie does a very good job of taking care of Dedenne and is always doing whatever she can to make sure it's happy and healthy. During the course of the Advanced Generation series Max befriended several Pokémon, and even used Ash's Corphish in a Покемон battle, although Corphish didn't listen to Max. Max is only 7 and yet he already knows so much about so many different Покемон and has been shown to do a great job taking care of или helping a Покемон in need.

geocen I understand your point of view but I think the age requeriment is 10 because a kid under that age can't handle a gym battle or a pokemon league and least an elite four battle; kids under 10 just take care of their pokemons. That's my opinion

diehardpokemon its funny when you think about it letting ten year olds be on their own fighting dangerous creatures but i agree i think kids younger then 10 should be able to became pokemon trainers if they are at a advanced stage where they know how to care and battle with them.

QueenofthePika I would agree- but only if they're mature enough. In some episodes, Bonnie has shown that she's afraid of battles.

TAIKAMODO I think once you've shown the level of maturity a trainer needs,you should be allowed,regardless of your age.Although,maybe it's because of the amount of traveling that could harm a younger child,or even mental stress and being too young to do certain things alone that ten is an agee requirement.

Pokegal4life I see the points you're making as well and they're both good points. And with Bonnie being scared of a battle, I don't think that's really the case and she's only scared for Ash because she doesn't want him to lose, like how she worried about him both times he went up against Viola. Usually, though, Bonnie is really excited when she sees Ash battle especially when he's doing a great job and has the advantage.

Malamar: CREEPIEST POKEMON EVER!

Seriously I can't stand the sight of that thing, makes me shudder just thinking about it. Also, the Malamar that appeared in the Аниме episode "A Conspiracy to Conquer" was PURE EVIL!. It took control of so many of the main character's Покемон like Ash's Пикачу and Bonnie's Dedenne, and it even took control of Officer Jenny using Hypnosis. Also, through Meowth's translation the gang found out about Malamar's plot to take over the world, and although Ash, his friends, and Team Rocket teamed up to try and defeat Malamar it still managed to escape. After watching that episode, I'll admit, I'M TERRIFIED OF MALAMAR!
