Satoshi Tajiri said something like this "I want every Pokémon fans to read this (Adventures) manga."

It has a better storyline and most of the characters pop back up now and then. Where as in the anime, the group often meets a new character for one episode then never sees them again, even if Ash says "We'll meet again someday!"

there also is one other thing I like about the manga. Violence and foul language XD. I don't care if the Adventures manga I own says it is Rated E for Everybody, that thing is bad for small children! ( unless they took all the violence out from the official English dub manga)

But I like the Manga too.

Hard choice but I prefer the manga.
