I think that Ты should tell him how Ты feel, Ты say your friend is only dating him because she knows Ты like him, well SHE IS NOT A FRIEND, freinds do not do that to each other.
I would tell him the truth but don't tell him that she's only dating him to get to Ты cause she may not be but if Ты see her cheating on him with another guy then definately tell him.
Maybe Ты should talk to your friend too, tell her how Ты feel. Talk to her first and then your friend that's a guy.
