Best way to word this?

Okay, I would ask this on the Письмо spot but I'll get a quicker response on random. Right now I'm Письмо a police interrogation scene in my story and there's a part I need the wording for.
The story is from the first person point of view of a cop who is currently falsely being accused of abducting/possibly murdering her police partner. She is refusing to speak или even look at the interrogator, the latter because she is silently crying over the suffering her partner is going through and is afraid it will be interpeted wrong. Right now she is half listening to the cop when another detective pops into the room with a box we later find out contains a tape of the victim being tortured and also his severed left pointer finger (but we don't know what's in the box yet) I need to figure out how to word when the other detective pops into the room with the box.

I'm not sure. I don't have a clear picture of what you're trying to say here. I'm sorry. You're trying to figure out how to word the moment when the other detective inturrupts the interrogation, correct? Um... try, maybe ... "The door was shoved open suddenly, catching me off guard. I turned to see (Detective's name) enter the room, carrying an evidence box. He/she sat it down on the таблица and looked at me with deadpanned eyes. His/Her voice was filled with disgust as..." Well, that's as much as I can think off. If it works, you're еще than welcome to use it. I hope I've helped.
