Well, I'm almost 15, sooo...Yeah. That's what I would probably say:

Well, it depends on the current situation. If it's something someone as young as me can't handle, I'll have to understand and stay at the sidelines. But if it something I can handle, I'll just have to tell them that I'm fully capable of taking care of myself.

There is an easy solution to this: all Ты have to do is prove to them that Ты are sensible and mature (if you're not then learn to be). It really works - if people see that Ты are able to act reasonably and rationally then they will start to trust and accept your choices.

In my own defense, out of my own decisions, I have decided to work hard at school and I am now an honours student. I am respected as a responsible, smart, young man who can and will achieve his dreams. Look at yourself. Did Ты make all As except for two Bs your freshman год of high school because Ты chose to work hard? Did Ты chose to help your Друзья in any way they can and support them in any way Ты can? Do Ты let people live their lives the way they see fit? или do Ты try to control people?
