I just am happy someone is polite so I say thank you.
If I feel there is something I can compliment them on too, I do. But if not, then I just leave it as a thank Ты and a smile.

Depends on the deliverer. Like if my dad compliments something like my artwork/schoolwork I'm proud since he's strict...if that creepy boy compliments my looks I'm scared.
