Is Аниме "mainstream"?

Don't kill me.

I'm wondering... Everyone here talks about how they don't like "mainstream" stuff (which is Популярное stuff everyone likes).

And if Ты look at fanpop, almost everyone seems to like anime... wait no, Любовь anime...

So I'm wondering, doesn't that make it mainstream? или at least on fanpop?

I wouldn't say it's mainstream necessarily, but it is somewhat Популярное among some users.

I wouldn't say it is mainstream due to the fact there's alot of Аниме haters still on fanpop. And I MEAN tons of Аниме haters. It is Популярное but it is nowhere near mainstream.

Twilight,Justin Bieber,One Direction, and Hunger Games,etc are the mainstream subjects.

... What? The Аниме или the photo? If Ты are referring to the Аниме then It's one of my favourites: 'The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya' if Ты are talking about the фото then... I dunno TT TT
