Somehow this came up in my English class last school year, and this is what my teacher said: "Queen Victoria was a very modest,prudish woman. That's why I think that the store Victoria's Secret is called that because that was Queen Victoria' secret, that she portrayed herself as a modest person, but underneath everything she dressed the opposite."
