The friend that died a few months back probaly was your BFF. (Like, best friend forever.) But the one that died friday probaly wasn't the best in the world...

Feelings don't always make sense. I cry at Фильмы all the time, yet when my grandmother died I couldn't shed a tear. I missed her so much and was depressed, but I physically couldn't will myself to cry.
Just because Ты don't cry doesn't mean Ты don't care. Everyone copes in different ways.

And I'd be happy to give Ты a hug, bb. I'm truly sorry for Ты loss and I hope Ты feel better soon.

Chances are you've either perceived this Последнее friend's death differently than the one that happened years ago. There could be many factors causing it, such as this friend probably not being as valued as the last one, или maybe because you've learned to cope with a friend's death so it's not as bad of an experience.
