I understand your problem completely. I've been obsessed, for some reason, with watching "Let's Play" Видео of people playing Slender. And that alone frightens me just a bit. Heck, one night I was going up to my room and felt like he was right behind me. And to think, I haven't even played it yet--exactly why I won't just yet.
