Twilight is good but Harry Potter is better

TeamJacob202, I totally agree with you! I love both Twilight and HP and I think that people shouldn't be arguing like two-year-olds about it. Twilight and HP both rock! :) Stephenie Meyer and J.K. Rowling are both brilliant women, and we shouldn't be fighting over their work. I'm a Twilighter, but I like HP too. So what? I'm bot gonna argue with the HP people about it. Stop fighting! Peace! :)

I am a Harry Potter Fan ALLLLLL the way...I don't think that there should be any competition between the Twilight and Harry Potter but I think Harry Potter is waaay better. Twilight(pardon if i seem rude, I am just trying to bring my thoughts to letters) in my opinion is nothing more than a cheap romantic soap opera with a vampire backdrop. For those ppl who like Twilight, go ahead. It's your choice......I just think that Harry Potter was much much better!

Harry Potter all the WAY!!! Even though Twilight is a REALLY crappy teen romance (i would know, I'm a teen), it could have been better if Stephanie had take more time to write and develop the book overall and then maybe the movies would be better aswell.

Twilight CANNOT compete with Harry Potter. HP is a CLASSIC. Twilight's a fad (that I already grew out of).

I really, really, really despise human beings. What does it matter who's winning? "omg harry potter is the best thing god ever put on this earth!!!!" and "OME id like totally die without twilight!!! anyone who had anything to do with harry potter should burn in hell!!" (I'm exagerating, but still.)
It doesn't matter, because they're both good stories, have good characters, and there are many fans for both stories. I wish people would stop criticizing each other's opinions.

I read Twilight before The Craze (as I like to call it) and I thought it was...mediocre, corny and extremely repetative and boring. Anyone could guess what was going to happen. If you want good vampire fiction, read Anne Rice.

Now, Harry Potter is not mediocre, is corny in a good way (XD! I like good corn, shoot me!) and though it was a little repetative, it was not boring. I mean - it was obvious that Harry would defeat Voldemort from book one, but Rowling knew how to keep the plot from running dry and she knew what she needed to do to keep readers entertained.

Also, and this is where my respect for Rowling sky-rockets - she knew when to stop. Twilight should have been a one-book-wrap-up. But, hey, that was just my opinion. Peace out! (Sorry - this is outrageously long!)

CrimsonRegrets is completely and totally right twilight sucks **** (sorry but its true) i read like the first three chapters and i was like "there going to get married and something is going to happen and then edward is going to have to change bella into a vampire to have her survive" it was ridiculously stupid and a waste of time the only good vampire books that i've read is Anne Rice and The Chronicles of Vlad Todd (if you Twihards can't think that anything else is good just because you love gawking over taylor laughtners sixpack than shoot me)

I read the Twilight books and saw the movies. I only saw some of the Harry Potter movies but didn't read the books. So I'm going with Twilight.

I don't actually hate Twilight or think it was badly written, but it wasn't very original. I was wary of it for ages because I'd heard lots of people didn't like it, but then my English teacher, whose taste in books I usually trust, told me that I had to read it and that it was amazing. So I read the first one, and I did think it had some good aspects to it but overall I wasn't terribly impressed- it was just okay in my opinion and I don't want to continue the series. Could it come close to competing with Harry Potter. NO WAY. Harry Potter is just incredible and amazing and it was my life back when I was 12!!! Still one of my favourite series ever.
