Didn't Ты think it was sad in the begining and end?

Very powerful movie. It brought out all kinds of emotions in me and most Фильмы rarely do that.

Did Ты notice the teacher bringing Caroline's attention to the board towards the end? As the camera pans to the дата it reads "September 11, 2001."
On this дата (in real life) a tragedy occurred and it still shakes the world today. Two planes flying over New York City were hijacked by terrorists and they flew them right into the Twin Towers (in the movies, Tyler's fathers office is in one of these buildings), killing themselves, everyone on the plane and everyone in the high-rise buildings. Only people on the bottom floors may have made it out alive. That's how Tyler died in the movie, he was in the building.
