did robert frost ever own a stradivarius violin?

I recently aquired a stradivarius, that is rumored to be an original. The story goes that robert frost mailed the violin from where ever he was staying, to his home. during transit, the violin was lost. miraculously my great great grandfather found it, and its been in the family every since. (had the violin appraised, was told it was fake, but the fello who appraised it seemed overly excited to take it off my hands. needless to say i didnt sell the violin and still have it safely locked away.)
