Kirby was seen alive whilst on the ground outside when Charlie left. She was only stabbed twice, as was Sidney and SHE survived. She also has not been confirmed to be dead, which means there is a chance.

Well first of all, she was stabbed in the stomach , which is very deadly, secondly - nobody came to her aid, and then at the hospital they said Sydney and Jill we're the only survivors so... I don't think so :P

I'm not really sure though, I think they deliberately left it open to see what the viewer's perception of the character was so they had the possibility of bringing her back for Scream 5 should they make it.
