So, I've been really wondering how Rynk could biologically come into existence. So, with Tak's permits, I have come up with a way to try to explain how this labrat is still alive.
For this article, we're going to focus on her Deoxiribose Nucleic Acid strands, or, as commonly refered to, DNA. We know that Rynk has been modified genetically. But... how modified? Let's see...
The fact that Banshees can produce offspring that can, in turn, create еще offspring confirms that Banshees are, in fact, a species. However, Banshees aren't evolutionary. In a general gist, Banshees were created when one member of a species happened upon a cat (and after a series of chemical bonding and reacting,) created the first Banshee. They DID NOT eveolve from single celled organism. (In a sense, Banshees are a parasite или a plague, if Ты will.)
"But if they never evolved from single cells, how are they a species?" To explain how this happened, think of sexual reproduction. It may not be a pretty picture, but if Ты set aside immaturity, Ты can see how it works... sorta...
Anyways, getting back on topic, because they never evolved from single-cells, they have adenine, cytosine, guanine, and thymine as possible nitrogenous bases, plus the nitrogenous bases frequenine, and Lanine.
Also, their nucleotides, the monomers, или single units, of DNA, would be rather ADP molecules. Think of a nucleotide, but add an extra phosphte to it, and yoy have ADP. Add another phosphate, and Ты get ATP. This is how Banshees can use the so called Dark Energy. In Daricha Banshees, there are еще enzymes to create ATP molecules out of the ADP nucleotides. Then, an RNA copy is taken to the Endopasmic Reticulum where a ribosome is "reads" the RNA, and makes a protein. However, each amino acid brought by the tRNA to the ribosome is charged with energy from the ATP monomer RNA. This makes organelles far еще potent. As mentioned earlier, Daricha Banshees have highest concentration of these enzymes, and Milens have the least.
Now, Rynk is a special case. She holds far еще possible nitrogenous base possibilities. These are Sanguine and Vermine, which code for vampiric traits, Diranine and Consine, which code for Acid Monster traits, Identine and Microsine, which code for Identity traits, Polymine and Indusine, which code for Xorda traits, Cerenine and Centrine, which code for Core traits, and Morsine and Recine, which code for Lynx traits.
It's a mouthful, but as mentioned earlier, but taken into account how many times she's been modified. Also, the fact that she still looks like a banshee regardless of all the crap she'a gone through because of Melcro shows that the original six nitrogenous bases are the most prominent.
On that note, the ATP energy take from one of the nitrogenous bases that code for, say, Identity traits will activate Identity energy because the energy is coming from a base that codes for Identity traits. The Same happens for all nucleoutides except the first four, since they code for regular phenotypes and genotypes, but still contribute to Daricha's Dark Energy.
So, that is my theory on how, on a genetic level, Banshees and Rynk are still alive.
To finish, I'll leave Ты with a potentially bad science riddle:
How many nuclei does a cell really have?
