Entertainment weekley actually has the nerve to ask if Аватар is the Далее звезда Wars, или worse if its better than звезда Wars. How do Ты feel about that. The picture shows how I feel.
Like the Слоган of this spot says: "George Lucas science-fiction epic film that changed cinema forever" It's a life time work. 6 Фильмы since 1977. Still Популярное today, even a new animated serie. звезда Wars is just legendary! Ты can't just replace it by one movie, that may cost a bit еще than the others but still. Money isn't everything. I would still like to see if Аватар is still going to be so Популярное after 30 years. звезда Wars will still last forever, and not only with the old generation but they're еще and еще young people who also Любовь it. I don't care what EW says, I know that звезда Wars is the best movie production ever!

We all know that Аватар can't beat звезда Wars! And I agree with you! I hope I can make my звезда Wars stories into a Фильмы someday, So звезда Wars can keep going on! I want to see Avatar, but it isn't звезда Wars. звезда Wars even beats Wicked!!! And that's saying something I went to go see Wicked twice! I even have a Wicked shirt, but I would so want 20 звезда Wars shirts!
well i recently found out that when they compared it to starwars they were talking about the amount of money each made opening weekend that Аватар was close to beating starwars but in the long run really theres no competition i mean comeon 6 Фильмы thousands of Книги 1 tv series need i go on its pretty obvious what made the most money but in opening week they сказал(-а) Аватар was close to making what new hope did i think it beat it but i'm not sure still theres no reason to compare the two starwars is and always will be the best
Exactly that! My brother saw Аватар recently and he сказал(-а) the movie had beautiful effects, but the story is not comparable to SW! And not to mention that SW also has awesome effects and that they were the first in doing such technics! So yeah, I think it's pretty clear who's the winner here. :P
I think they ment as in the amount of groundbreakin cgi. Like... idk. For example, george lucas was the 1st person to do computer graphics on white backing. Аватар will have been a first in terms of da amount of cg used in 3d. I don't think they mean in terms of how gud the film is, I've seen it and although it's good, I think звезда wars is better. That's a cool pic by the way... :-)

Аватар has an element of all the epics, like звезда Wars and the Matrix, so maybe they're trying to say that it will be rank alongside звезда Wars, not replace it.
Аватар was good, no doubt, but it was no звезда Wars. It could never amount to what звезда Wars has become...it's just not possible. I mean, I'm swept off my feet every single time I watch звезда Wars... with Аватар I wasn't really blown away. I mean parts of it were really stunning but I wasn't caught breathless at any moment and I like a movie that can do that. звезда Wars does that eternally.
Well I guess people want to beat звезда Wars. Can't happen people, even after like 30 something years звезда Wars lives on. With prequals and a kid's TV series, will Аватар have that? I doubt it. Does Аватар have it's own Natinal day? I don't think so. звезда Wars does!!! :D Natinal звезда Wars day, I think it's the день the first звезда Wars movie came out, May 2nd is it? I don't know I just know that there's a Natinal звезда Wars day. And звезда Wars will live on forever, Аватар pry won't.

They did they same thing with Harry Potter though, when Twilight came around. OH we have to replace Harry Potter, so everytime I go to the website, its all Twilight. EW has become a piece of shit.
I'm am completely flabbergasted that anyone would say that. Let's just sum up my thoughts: giant blue monkey people will NEVER replace звезда Wars! EVER! Who wrote that column? I'd like to go giant blue ninja monkey on THEM sometime! звезда Wars is epic, and will NEVER die. Just like a cockroach. (Idk, it was all I could think of...) или a weed... I guess. While visually stunning, Аватар was NOT original, especially in terms of story. Better than звезда Wars, it is not! As for it being the Далее звезда Wars, I can't really see either, as I don't believe Аватар could pull off (or have for that matter) a sequel.
