^^ What it says :) Enjoy!

Nerves began to build up inside of me. I couldn’t blame them, really. It had been nearly two years since I’d last seen my brother, или talked to him face-to-face, and I felt guilty that I had let it be that long a Космос of time. I should have at least called him, или been to visit him here in Stanford, before now. But a small voice told me in my head that it was Sam’s fault as much as it was mine. He was the one who had walked out and left Dad and me, and the job, after all. And he could as easily have picked up the phone as I could have.
But no matter how hard I tried, the rage I had first felt when Sam had left us soon disappeared, within a месяц или two, and understanding for what he had done and worry for how he was without me took over the angry emotions. And even when I tried to find that anger now, when I was about to confront him for the first time in about twenty months, it was impossible to feel. All that was going through my mind was that if Sammy was alright, and whether или not he’d be willing to give me a hand with the job I was going to ask him. Because I knew how stubborn he could be sometimes; it was part of who he was. He stood up Dad and went for what he wanted, and I felt a streak of admiration as I secretly wished that I had the guts to do the same at times.
Honestly, I was afraid of how I would look to my younger brother. Desperate? Guilty? Useless and lost, without Dad? And to an extent, I did feel all of those things. But I couldn’t let him see that; I had to keep my game face on, and give him something to look up to – if he did look up to me anymore. I realised with a sense of dread that I realistically had no idea how Sammy would be with me, whether it was welcoming, hesitant или even hating towards me. I tried to push out the thought of the latter, because I didn’t know what I would do if that happened.
I tugged the keys out of the Impala’s ignition and the growl of the engine died down and stopped. I buried the keys in my jeans pocket and took a deep breath as I swung open the car door and stepped out into the cool night air and looked at the building in front of me.
The apartments looked fairly old, but sturdily built, and at the time of half an час past midnight, only a couple of lights were spread around the front of the building. I only knew Sam’s room number, 28a, because of a Сообщить from Dad nearly a год ago, when he had driven by Stanford to check up on Sam, unknowing to him. I took a guess at around where I thought this room would be located, and no lights were on around the area. What a geek boy; going to постель, кровати before three in the morning at college. I smiled to myself, despite of the nerves now knawing a hole inside of me. Maybe he hadn’t changed that much without my presence.
I jumped up the main steps, picked my way in and tracked down Sammy’s room. I stood outside the door for a moment, hoping that he would want to pick up the job again and ride with me, even for a little while. Things hadn’t been the same since he’d left. I always got the sense Dad did too, but I had missed the presence of a third Winchester a lot more. Dad knew how much I’d missed him, especially when he’d first gone away, and had always tried to involve me more, and offer company или assistance on hunts, but I usually refused them. I preferred to work alone sometimes. But of course it wasn’t the same without Sam around, and Dad had sensed it too.
I fingered the lock pick in my hands and got to work, the door opening quietly, easily and quickly. Once I was in there I realised had no idea where I was going, so felt my way round the rooms, which were only lit by the moonlight outside. I made my way through the hallway and then found myself in the kitchen; damn it, how the hell was I meant to get upstairs to Sam?
I was finding my way to what seemed in the shadows like a staircase, when I felt a figure from behind grab my shoulders and throw me forwards. I spun round, now against a wall, and ran up to my attacker and threw my knee into his stomach. If anyone was trying to hurt my brother, they’d have me to answer to. My opponent grunted and was knocked off balance, where I pushed him to the floor, pinned down...until I saw who I been beating up. I loosened my grip on my brother’s вверх and patted him on the shoulder.
“Easy, tiger,” I said, grinning. I figured it was best to break the ice with a joke, as I did so many times. Sam’s face twisted from surprise to disbelief.
“Dean? Ты scared the crap out of me!”
I couldn’t help it. “That’s because you’re out of practice.”
I caught a quick expression of a glare from my brother’s face and immediately felt a little bit guilty for being so quick to judge him; we hadn’t been together for five minutes. I soon forgot about my comment, however, when I found myself pushed away as I Остаться в живых my grip on Sam’s t-shirt, thrown to the side, and pinned to the floor by him, reversing positions.
“Or not,” I сказал(-а) with a smirk. I dropped the smile when he didn’t let go, grinning himself. “Get off me.”
Sam got up and let me catch my breath as he did the same, then held out a hand to help me up. I guess that was a good sign, anyway. Maybe this wasn’t going to be so bad after all.
Dean and Sam rushed into the hospital, to the reception room. “Hi, my friend was brought in here” “What’s your friend’s condition?” the receptionist asked. “Eh” Dean hesitated, looking at Sam.
“Sam! Dean!”
The Winchesters turned around and saw Anna running their way. “Come with me, I know where he is” she said. She turned around again and Sam and Dean followed her. “I found him lying in the middle of a crossroad, bleeding badly. I’ve been having this bad feeling all день and I’m so furious with myself that I didn’t look for him sooner”
She stopped at a door....

Sam was back at the motel, when the door opened and Ellen and Jo came in. Sam looked up and his eyes widened. “Jo” he sighed relieved. He walked to her and threw his arms around her. “You’re alive, thank God”
“Yeah” Jo said, tapping Sam’s shoulder.
Sam scratched his neck. “Eh, do Ты want some coffee? I can make some” he suggested.
“No, don’t bother, we’re good” Ellen said.
“It’s no bother” Sam said. “I was going to make some anyway” And thus he walked to the kitchen.
“Where’s Dean? I’d like to see him. He wasn’t in his room anymore” Jo said.
“Eh,...

Cas took Ellen’s arm and disappeared. He landed in the ICU, Далее to Jo’s bed.
“Warn me if someone’s coming. I don’t know how long this will take” Cas сказал(-а) dispassionately. Ellen nodded and walked to the door. She opened it and walked outside.
Cas sank down on the постель, кровати and lay his hands on both Jo’s temples. He closed his eyes and prayed for Jo to open her eyes.
And she did. At first everything was a blur. She reached out her hand and touched Cas’ face. “Dean?” she mumbled weak. When Cas’ face became clearer she withdrew her hand. “I’m sorry”
Cas didn’t reply, but...

Sam held the door of the hospital open, while Cas carried the unconscious Dean inside. Before they could call for help an emergency doctor rushed to them and called for a stretcher. A male nurse rode a stretcher to them and Cas lay Dean down on it. As the doctor drove to the emergency room, she asked what happened.
“He’s been shot” Cas quickly answered.
“What’s his blood type?” the doctor needed to know. Sam answered and the doctor drove the stretcher into the emergency room. “Sorry, Ты have to wait outside” she сказал(-а) as she closed the doors, leaving Sam and Cas outside.
Sam ran...

“Daphne? It’s time to let me go” Martin сказал(-а) soft.
Daphne lifted her head and stared at him with wet and bloodshot eyes. “How? I can’t”
“It’s time for me to Переместить on” Martin said. “I’ve been wandering around for too long. I’m done here. If I stay much longer, I could turn into a vengeful spirit”
Daphne shook her head. “I don’t believe that”
“You didn’t believe I would Показать up in the first place, either” Martin pointed out.
Daphne pulled her shoulders. “How do I let Ты go? Aren’t Ты supposed to walk into the light или something?”
Martin laughed. “Not exactly. Ты have to salt and burn my bones”
“So I need to go to the cemetery?” Daphne asked.
“No. That grave is empty” Martin сказал(-а) bitter.
“Then where are your bones?” Daphne asked nervous.
“You’re standing on them” Martin answered.
Zoey looked at Cas with compassion in her eyes.
“You’re really in pain, aren’t you?” she asked. Cas nodded and Zoey opened the buttons of his shirt. She held her breath when she saw the wound she had made. “I thought Ангелы could heal”
“You used an Энджел sword” Cas explained. “It takes longer to heal. If Ты had pushed it any deeper I would’ve been dead by now”
“Oh, my poor Cas” Zoey said. She took off her рубашка and revealed a red tank top. She pressed the рубашка against the wound and Cas groaned.
Zoey frowned. “You need to be distracted” she decided. She sat down...

“Gerard committed suicide last night” Zoey said. “I found him hanging in our bedroom”
Daphne covered her mouth. “Oh my God, that’s…awful” she said

Daphne threw her arms around Zoey and Zoey faked a few tears and sobs. She pushed Daphne away and сказал(-а) she had to tell Alexia. She put her кошелек on the dresser, knowing Daphne would see the letter and be too curious to leave it where it is.
And indeed, a минута later, Daphne stormed outside, hysterically crying how everything was her fault.
Zoey walked back inside, trusting Daphne would need some time to calm down. She opened Daphne’s computer and connected a portable hard drive to it. The hard drive contained a fake video of Cas doing things with Alexia.
Zoey copied the video to Daphne’s files and then removed the hard drive. She closed the computer and called Alexia.
“Let’s go, Lex” she said. “We’re going to your grandparents”
Meg opened her eyes and gazed at Cas, who was still asleep. She leaned вперед and kissed him softly on the lips. Cas opened his eyes as Meg pulled back.
“Morning” she сказал(-а) smirking.
“Did Ты have a good night?” Cas asked.
“I slept like a baby” Meg answered.
“I didn’t hurt Ты last night, did I?” Cas asked concerned.
“I’m a demon, I can handle some rough sex” Meg replied. “But I think we should try to lower the volume Далее time. I think we’ve woken the neighbors”
“There’s not going to be a Далее time” Cas сказал(-а) serious. “Last night I had a fight with Dean and...

Jo woke up in her bed. Dean had told her to sleep there instead of with him. Just when things seem to go in the right direction, something was holding Dean back. Ever since that whore had shown up yesterday Dean hadn’t сказал(-а) one friendly word to her.
She came out of постель, кровати and walked into the kitchen. She saw Sam sitting at the таблица in the living room, apparently looking for cases on his laptop. Her mom was doing the dishes of the Назад evening. And Dean was sitting at the кухня table, staring at his cup of coffee.
“That coffee won’t drink itself, Ты know” Ellen...

Dean was lying in his постель, кровати in Rufus’ кабина when he felt someone was staring at him. He looked up and saw Cas standing at the end of his bed.
“Hello, Dean” he said.
Dean got out of постель, кровати and collected his clothes.
“It’s good to see Ты again” Cas said.
Dean put on his clothes. “Wish I could say the same”
“I don’t understand. Have I done something wrong?” Cas asked.
“You mean other than leaving me in Purgatory?” Dean asked sarcastic.
Cas looked down, ashamed. “I’m sorry about that. I didn’t mean to leave Ты there. I tried to get Ты out”
“Wait”...

The demon who had been torturing Meg had left her and Cas alone for a moment, giving them, completely unintentional, the chance to say a few words to one another.
“Hmm” Meg sighed. “So…is this awkward или what?”
Cas didn’t respond.
“Okay, listen up, I usually don’t do this, so don’t get used to it” Meg said. She took a deep breath. “I’m sorry”
Cas widened his eyes and rotated his head to Meg, but Meg was looking eyes front.
“You know, for lying to Ты and not telling Ты who Ты are” she continued, feeling Cas’ eyes on her and so she rotated her head a well. “Believe...

Ellen walked towards Dean and Dean expected her to give him a hug. Instead she slapped him.
“What was that for?” Dean exclaimed.
“How could Ты be so stupid to end up here?” she asked furious.
“I didn’t do anything!” Dean defended himself. “Cas and I were taking down Dick Roman, Далее thing we end up in Purgatory”
“And where’s Cas now?” Ellen asked, her arms crossed.
“I don’t know” Dean said. “He ditched me. Bastard”
“Guys, I’m sensing something” Anna waved her hand to draw their attention. “Someone’s here”
“Can Ты tell who it is?” Ellen asked....

Daphne was still tied up in her seat, while ‘Castiel’ was watching television.
“Exactly where did sweet Emmanuel go?” he asked, keeping his eyes on the screen.
“I don’t know” Daphne answered scared. “Look, if Ты don’t let me go, I’ll start screaming and then my neighbors will come”
“Then I’ll just kill them” ‘Castiel’ shrugged. “Talking about neighbors…You know Meg, the slut who lived across your house? My boss has been looking for her too”
“What?” Daphne asked breathless.
“You didn’t really think it was a coincidence she moved in there, right after...

I wanted to know more, but then Daphne’s husband Emmanuel came downstairs. I didn’t even know he was in the house. I thought he was at the hospital. When he left I asked Shannen what she was doing with him upstairs and she confessed that she...

Cas was sitting at the кухня table, staring ahead. He didn’t know what to do. A part of him wanted to stay. Daphne had saved his life. She’d taken care of him when anyone else would’ve just left him at that lake.
But another part, a bigger part, wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. It was безопасно, сейф to say that his lovely wife wasn’t so lovely at all.
So, why didn’t he just go? Because Zoey had been talking to him. She told him what really happened with Martin, their brother. How Daphne felt responsible for his death and how he, Cas, reminded her of him. Because Martin had...

Two hours later Daphne was baking cookies, while Cas was staring at the screen of Daphne’s laptop.
“How do I turn it on?” he asked careful; Zoey was in the room. She walked towards him and pointed at the start button. “This button” she сказал(-а) polite. She was still shaking from Cas’ last move. She’d had no idea he could be that strong.
“Thank you” Cas said. He looked up with щенок eyes. “Is your shoulder still hurting?”
“I’ll live” Zoey сказал(-а) soft.
“It was not my intention to cause Ты pain. My first priority was protecting Daphne” Cas explained.

Jack walked the steps to his front door and opened it. As he hung his пальто on the пальто rack he shouted: “Darling, I’m home!”
His wife didn’t respond, but there were noises in the kitchen, so he assumed she was cooking ужин for him. That was one of the things that made her so amazing. No matter what time he came Главная from work, she would always prepare him a fresh meal. And in return he would flirt with every woman he came across. She really deserved better.

“You’ve been in a bad relationship?” Daphne guessed.
“No, that’s not the problem” Cas said.
“Believe me, I get it…It was nice to meet you” She walked to the door.
“I’ve never been in a relationship before” Cas confessed uneasy.
Daphne turned around and her eyes were big. “You have got to be kidding me” she said...

“I feel fine” Cas mumbled.

Just a short 'un, sorry guys - trying to get back into the свинг, качели of Письмо Фан fic lol, it's been a few months :)

I approached Sam, who was stood at the хобот, ствол of the Impala, slowly and cautiously. Nothing like that had ever happened to either of us before, really, and it seemed that, although in a different way to me, Sam was unsure how to react. He hadn’t spoken since we’d gotten out his flat and the police and огонь department had started to arrive, and I had to bring myself to the conclusion that he might be in shock. I mean, he had just seen his girlfriend die. I knew my brother, and...
