It seems like Cas' voice is just a little lower and huskier (which I certainly don't have a problem with! :)

Yeah Misha definitely does "angel-voice" when he's Castiel. Jimmy's voice is more natural sounding which I guess is fitting since he's human.

Misha thought since Castiel's REAL voice shattered glass and made people's ears bleed. Cass would have a more defined voice. He said this in many interviews, and how he also regrets the decision of having such a deep voice for Castiel lol... But if you notice in season 4 episode 1, Cass' voice isn't as deep as it is now.

I love his voice too. lol...

Yeah it's probably not very comfortable to strain his voice like that all the time.

lol Misha said that him and Jensen are having a lowest voice contest lol i think Jensen makes dean's voice lower especially in the season 4 finale but in the scene in 99 problems after Castiel says on a bender and then he says Its not of import, we need to talk about whats happening here he was very low there lol

All the boys kind of gets that very dark and husky voice to sound more handsome, I guess. I dunno, but Sam & Dean's voices are also different from Jensen & Jared's xD
