agree with you...this season is great but something call "magic" miss in this show...something than kripke gave on spn..i know that he has an eye on the show but not enough for me...
there are great episodes but not a real and clear plot...
it looks like the characters are lost..like the friendship between the brothers and cass...i want that back but i'm stil a big fan of spn..like you said "don't get me wrong"...lol

Honestly, I freaking LOVE this season so far, even with the lack of Misha Collins it still has managed to keep me captivated and entertained throughout. I was honestly very hesitant following Season 5 because how in the hell do you go bigger than the Apocalypse, surly there was nothing they could do that would be anywhere close to that amazing (and Eric Kripke was gone, a cause for worry), and yet I knew as long as SPN was on I was going to watch it. Suffice to say I was extremely pleasantly surprised with how creative and inventive the writers have been thus far. There isn't any episode in S6 so far that I haven't liked. Some have been better than others, but I've honestly enjoyed every storyline. And as much as I missed Sammy and wasn't really Samdroid's biggest fan (he had his moments, but he was no Sammy) that storyline was interesting as crap. I'm still curious as to what the hell Death meant about the importance of souls. LOVED Dean being Death. Having an entire episode just about Bobby was pure win. Crowley...enough said. Cas being all BAMF and killing Crowley was amazing. Freaky ass mannequins were legit. Sammy got his soul back, tearful hug *dies* THE FRENCH MISTAKE. The mother of all storyline even intrigues me and if done properly can be one of the great mythologies of SPN. Purgatory exists...also interesting. And even though we haven't seen much of it, I've liked the Civil War in Heaven. Balthazar is love. Dean w/ Ben/Lisa was so freaking cute to me, and honestly SO much more that my mind isn't thinking of at this exact moment. But I'm not disappointed in this season at all. It's one of my favorites *shrugs*

I just had to pick this because the Cas!girl in me can be very persuasive and while the logical/rational part of my brain was going toward nothing, it's perfect, the stupid fangirl part of me made me click it lol what can you do?

lol...i understand you..i vote for a little bit...but i hesitated with cass...but i'm so cass girl that some people will thinking than i'm became a little bit crazy about that...lol lol lol...but honesly i didn't like the beginning of this season, the first episode was the worst of all the season first of spn (for me) and i became to hope a great season from "caged heat"...but after that it was a plot too confused...too many bad guy...too many uselesss characater..this feeling that in one side there are dean/sam and the other cass (most of the time alone)...i don't like that i miss the friendship between them...i know, there's a civil war in heaven...so what?...
the end fo the season is not so far...i love spn, this season is great but not perfect...magic is missing...maybe kripke must come back...sera is great but it's not his " baby"...i want back the spirit of 4 and 5th season...

Castiel is barely in it anymore :( and when he is it's like for 2 seconds...

I love it i really do and its getting better but there is something missing and my fav season was 5 and i was hoping S6 was going to beat it, but so far nope. But i am loving most of it. Sadly for me it started off very slow!
P.S. Castiel NEEDS to be in it more, Its not the same without him.

Also the plot in the way, because it had to be pulled back in intensity after season 5. But I think the lack of Cas was the worst.
