Here's what will be on the Avengers: Age of Ultron Главная video release 

is headed home this fall, and the second Marvel team-up saga will come loaded with deleted scenes when it arrives on disc and download. But it will be missing another fan-favorite of Marvel’s films – a One-Shot short-film bonus.

The movie wove together so many superheroes, including newcomers Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) into the clash between Iron Man, Black Widow, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Hawkeye and the robot monstrosity Ultron that writer-director Joss Whedon found himself killing off many darlings to deliver the movie at a manageable length. 

Although Whedon swears off director’s cuts, saying he prefers to stand by the version released in theaters, he will be sharing a number of never-before-seen sequences that ended up on the cutting room floor, as well as a gag reel, and a handful of behind-the-scenes documentaries.

 will be available as a 3D Blu-ray combo pack, regular Blu-ray disk, DVD, and on-demand on Oct. 2, but those hoping to see it again earlier can find it on Sept. 8 on Digital HD and 3D, as well as via Marvel’s parent company digital service, Disney Anywhere.

Marvel has provided EW with this clip from the film, but those who haven’t seen it may want to skip, because it ventures deep into spoiler turf.

One thing Marvel Studios apparently won’t be doing, and haven’t since

, which similarly led to the TV show of the same name starring Haley Atwell. 

and it was the most ambitious of the One-Shot shorts to date. Then … that happened to be the last one.

With luck, maybe the One-Shots will get a second chance someday.
